The Parish Council has 9 Parish Councillors and they meet bi-monthly on the second Thursday at 19:30.

• September at Hemington Village Hall
• November. at Hemington Village Hall

Unless otherwise stated below, the Councillors were elected to the office through elections held on 1 May 2025.

The Annual Parish Meeting is held in May when the Chairman is elected.

Areas of responsibility extends to commenting on planning applications, raising concerns with Highways regarding road safety, attending Local Council meetings to ensure information is shared and making sure issues are raised at the appropriate level. Due its very rural nature footpaths and Rights of Way are paid particular attention by the Parish Council and trying to ensure that they are usable and maintained by North Northamptonshire Council so that as many people as possible can enjoy them.
